David and Rosemary Fetter

David Fetter (b. 1938) composes and publishes music
primarily for brass. His works have been recorded by the bass
trombonists of both the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Philadelphia
Orchestra and sonatas by Daniel Speer transcribed by Mr. Fetter are found on
recordings by the Annapolis Brass Quintet and other ensembles.

Mr. Fetter is a trombone faculty member and Associate Dean at the
Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, Maryland. A native of Washington, D.C., he
holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music and the American University.
His 26 years as a performer included two years in the Cleveland Orchestra
under George Szell and 16 years in the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra under
Sergiu Comissiona and David Zinman.
